Vaccination Requirements

To help keep our dogs safe, all dogs attending the CC must be up to date on their required vaccinations. Prior to booking an evaluation, we require a copy of your dogs vaccination certificate from your veterinarian.

All dogs must have current Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza), and Bordetella vaccinations.

Evaluations

Evaluations are an important part of ensuring every dog has a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience at the CC.

During an evaluation, we take the time to get to know your dogs personality, energy level, play style, and comfort around other dogs and people. It gives your dog the opportunity to become familiar with our facility and staff before joining us for daycare or boarding.

Boarding Cancellation Policy

When clients cancel reservations or do not show up for their reservations without adequate notice (at least 36 hours), it is frequently too late for us to fill the space that we reserved for them because the boarders we turned away have already made other arrangements. Due to the loss of revenue because of no-shows and untimely cancellations, we have implemented the following cancellation policies.

During our peak times such as Long Weekends, Summer Holidays (June 15 - September 15), Spring Break and Christmas Break we will require 72 hours notice.

Clients that fail to provide us with 12 hours (Boarding) notice for reservation cancellations or no-shows will be charged for the entire scheduled reservation. If you have a package we will take off 1 Night Off. Cancellations due to weather will not be charged.

Daycare Cancellation Policy

When clients do not show up for their reservations, it is too late for us to fill the space we reserved for them because the daycarers we turned away have already made other arrangements. Due to the loss of revenue because of no-shows, we have implemented the following cancellation policies.

Clients who no-show for Daycare will be charged for the entire scheduled reservation. If you have a package we will take 1 Day Off.

Cancellations due to weather will not be charged.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Old Does My Dog Need To Be To Attend Daycare?

Puppies must be old enough to have had their 2nd round of vaccinations.

Why Does The CC Require The Bordetella Vaccine?

On the Veterinarian’s recommendation for the health and well being of your dog and the dogs in our care, we do require the Bordetella Vaccine.

Bordetella is a contagious respiratory infection that can spread through close contact, coughing sneezing, and shared spaces.

Requiring the Bordetella Vaccine helps reduce the risk of illness and protects all dogs in our daycare community. Dogs can pick up this infection, at a dog park, daycare, meeting another dog on a walk.

Having the vaccine does not guarantee a dog will not get it, but it helps reduce the risk and often reduces the severity and duration of illness.

Can My Dog Attend Daycare If They Are Shy / Nervous?

Every dog is different. Our team takes the time to understand each dogs personality and comfort level. We always make sure our nervous dogs are comfortable in a calm group of dogs, whether they are large or small.

Do Dogs Play All Day?

Daycare is more about nonstop play. Dogs enjoy a balance of playtime, activities, rest periods and supervised social time to keep them happy and healthy throughout the day.

My Dog Needs Medication Given.

We have many dogs in our care that have different types of medications and they all need to be administered different ways. We are familiar with it and comfortable to provide your dog his/her medication.

Do You Feed Raw?

Yes! We have freezers and fridges to store it in. It does help us if you have already pre-measured it.

What Should I Bring For My Dog?
  • For daycare: Food if your dog needs to be fed, a standard leash or slip lead (please no retractable leashes)

  • For Boarding: Food, medication, a bed, blanket, favorite toy or stuffy (we do provide beds/cots and blankets as well)

Can My Dog Come If They Are Not Spayed Or Neutered?

Yes, we just ask that you wait 4 weeks after your female dog has stopped bleeding.

What Cleaning And Safety Practices Do You Follow?

We maintain a clean and safe environment through regular sanitizing. Kennels get cleaned in between each dog. Food dishes and water bowls get cleaned after each use. The daycare/facility gets cleaned thoroughly each night.
